William Hill’s Management Team gets stronger
Mr. Neil Cooper has been appointed as the new group Finance Director of William Hill plc along with of Kristof Fahy as Brand & Marketing Director. This is a new role which the company is planning out to strengthen their position both online and offline. Mr. Neil will be joining his new office in January 2010.
Mr. Neil will be joining the William Hill’s board after the present Finance Director Mr. Simon Lane decided to resign after serving the company for four years. At present Mr. Neil is working as a Finance Director at Bovis Home Group plc. His job comprises of external and management coverage, IT, relationship with the investors, financing and treasury, and internal audit. Previously, Mr. Neil has worked with Whitbread plc where he had played an important role in the field of financing for eight years.
Speaking from the Board side, Mr. Charles who is the Chairman of William Hill wanted to thank Mr. Simon for making valuable contribution to William Hill. His major efforts comprises of creating a strong balance sheet during the year 2009. They wished him success for his future professional career. They are also quite pleased with the joining the board of William Hill.
Mr. Neil has the appropriate experience in the field of handling various financial matters and also given valuable contribution in the leisure field. The company has declared that Kristof Fahy will be appointed as at a senior management position of Brand & Marketing Director and will be directly reporting to Mr. Ralph Topping who is the Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Kristof is accountable for managing and expansion of William Board at all the places where the company’s business is flourished. He has had worked for a healthy seventeen years in the field of brand communication and marketing. In recent times he has also worked as VP International Marketing for Yahoo! Inc. Previous to that he worked as Brand Marketing Director EMEA for Blackberry, worked for five years as Head of Brand, Advertising, and Planning with Orange, UK. Soon he will be becoming the part of William Hill in January 2010.
Mr. Ralph said they are quite pleased to welcome Mr. Fahy as a part of their senior management team at their company. He added that Mr. Fahy’s marketing and branding proficiencies along with experience in online communications will definitely help the company to strengthen both their offline and online business.
