Things not in favor of Tom Dwan
Mr. Tom made a great start in 2010 but lately the situation has turned unfavorable for him, which includes last week’s seven figure loss at Full Tilt’s high-stakes tables. At one point, Mr. Tom was up by more than $7 million. But in the last month, things have turned against Mr. Tom, as he has returned $2.3 million over the last month dating back to April 8th. This comprises of this week’s downfall of around $1.2 million loss. It just took him just over 3,800 hands to register the big loss.
You’d imagine Patrik Antonius might have been responsible for a lot of that loss, seeing as the “durrrr Challenge” between the two players had been raising the steam. But momentum has diminished once again, and no sessions were logged for the Challenge this week.
Over the last week, no player had a seven figured loss. The next major loser was Mr. Ashton was down $530K in just under 3,800 hands and after him it was Mr. Cole at $414K.
This week Isildur1 who is a player from Sweden made a comeback to the virtual felt but it was not for long. He registered a loss of $198K for the week and he has used all his funds. Previously, this year at one point after reaching up to $1.4 million profit, Mr. Isildur1 is down around $40K. He has witnessed a downfall of around two million dollars over his unstable career.
In the meantime, this week Mr. Gus played aggressively at the tables, registering new earnings of $1.1 million over the course of 7,244 hands. After hanging around at about break even, Mr. Gus moving in on the profit of seven figures for the year 2010 once more.
Second in the weekly positions was ‘jungleman12’ who made a large amount of his profits for the week by playing with Mr. Tom. Mr. Patrik made a neat profit of $430K in spite of playing only 2,500 hands.
In spite of the vicious week, Mr. Tom is in the lead at Full Tilt, registering profits of $3.1 million. This year no player has crossed profits of more than $2 million.
There are around nine players which are piled up behind Mr. Tom who has more than one million dollars in profits. Mr. Dang is in the second position with $1.7 million and Mr. Alexander with $1.5 million. Mr. Townsend continued to lead all losers as he is down at $2.1 million for 2010.
