PokerStars.net to Telecast North American Poker Tour

PokerStars.net has declared that they had a contract in order to broadcast NAPT (North American Poker Tour) which will be starting on April 2010 on ESPN2. It is decided that ESPN2 will be broadcasting sixteen hours of the poker tour along with all the multiple reruns, which will be featuring Caribbean Adventure by PokeStars.net. The NAPT will be hosting webcasts, which is available on the official website of NAPT- www.napt.com.

Mr. Daniel who is a specialist of Team PokerStars.net said that with the North American Poker Tour broadcasting on ESPN2, it will take the event to newer heights. NAPT will be bringing the thrill of outstanding tournament poker to the lovers of this game along with the famous gaming places in America and ESPN2 reach.

NAPT has been formed along with approachable buy-ins and is prepared to draw thousands of players from across the world, where they will be playing for millions of dollars as prize pool. For the first season, the players are offered five thousand dollars for the main event buy-in. The tour started off in the month of January at PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure in Bahamas. The 2010 Main Event witnessed record number of players, which made the prize pool of around fifteen million dollars. Mr. Harrison was the winner and he won the prize money of $2.2 million.

NAPT carries on at fascinating Las Vegas’ Venetian Resort Hotel Casino this week.
